June 27, 2012 CFU Business Internet Customers click here!  CFU now offers a free service that can send you emergency, severe weather and/or important utility service notices, delivered to
any phone, text or email account you choose.
The service is called Black Hawk County Alert. The City of Cedar Falls, including our municipal utilities, participates in this county-wide system as a member of the Black Hawk County Emergency Management Commission. Use the links below to sign up for Black Hawk County Alert. By signing up, you take control of: - What types of messages you want to receive. You can choose emergency messages only, or add any of these options: CFU service notices, other community notices and/or severe weather alerts. Please note that there are separate sign up pages for Emergency/Community Alerts and Weather Alerts.
- How you want to be contacted. You can specify any combination of phone, text message, email and other contacts.
- What locations you want to be notified about, such as your home, your business, a relative's home, your child's school, etc. Specify one or more addresses in Black Hawk County, and you will only receive messages that pertain to those locations.
