Renewable Sources Wind energy has been one of CFU’s power sources since 1998. Customers may purchase renewable energy through our Harvest the Wind program. CFU also allows customer-owned generation for wind or solar projects. CFU is exploring projects to add renewable energy wisely, while maintaining highly reliable service and keeping our electric rates among the lowest 10% of Iowa utilities. |
