Add-A-Dollar to Support Families this Heating Season

The Add-A-Dollar program is a simple, direct way to help families in need of support in our community. Donations made to 
the program provide assistance with heating costs. 

Customers who are able to help can add a donation to their monthly utility bill. No administrative costs are charged, so every dollar donated goes to help needy households.

Since the Add-A-Dollar program was implemented in 1985, CFU customers continue to demonstrate outstanding support. More than 470 customers donated to the program in the last year.

To add a donation to your bill, fill out the online form available at cfu.net/dollar. 

Or, complete the Add-A-Dollar section of your monthly CFU statement and mail it back. All Add-A-Dollar contributions are tax deductible and a year-to-date report is included on your monthly statement.

The City of Cedar Falls Department of Community Development administers the Add-A-Dollar funds and determines households that qualify.
