Submit Meter Reads

In order for CFU to accurately calculate your utility bill, we must obtain the readings from your utility meter at your home or business. Our meter reader team is responsible for visiting your property most months to check your meter.

If meter readers are unable to gain access to your meters, a card may be left on your door asking for help in obtaining accurate readings. We ask your cooperation in providing the reads to us within 48 hours. Tip for Reading Your Meter

Other methods of submitting meter reads: 

  1. Contact customer service at 319-268-5280.     
  2. Mail your card to Cedar Falls Utilities, P.O. Box 769, Cedar Falls, IA 50613.
  3. Drop the meter read card in the CFU payment drop box located in front of the CFU building.
  4. Take a photo of your meter and text it to 1-833-803-3222 or email the photo to cfumr@cfunet.net. Please include your address in the text message or email.
