CFU Names New Director of Communications

Cedar Falls Utilities recently named Charles Dostale as the new Chief Technology Officer and Director of Communication Operations. 

Charles will have executive responsibility for the operation of CFU internet video and phone services as well as internal information systems and technology.

"I have the privilege of working with a talented team of people who continue to provide innovative and reliable communications services to the residents of Cedar Falls" says Charles. "I look forward to my role in helping lead CFU into the future as we build on the excellent foundation that has been laid thus far."

Charles began his career at CFU in 2010 as a Network Engineer and since 2014 has been the Network Engineering Supervisor. 

Prior to joining CFU Charles held various positions in a 22-year career with Silver Oaks Communications in Moline.

"Charles has been an exceptionally dedicated employee and has been instrumental in the design construction and maintenance of our world-class data and video broadband system" says Steve Bernard CFU General Manager.
