Cedar Falls High School Student Earns CFU Scholarship

Cedar Falls High School student Jillian Kellum was selected as the 2023 Cedar Falls Utilities scholarship recipient. 

Applicants must continue their education after high school in a utility related field and complete a CFU job shadow. Students receive $1500 towards tuition. 

Jillian will attend Milwaukee School of Engineering to study mechanical engineering.

CFU's scholarship program is intended to make students aware of utility career opportunities as well as create a future generation of qualified job candidates for Cedar Falls Utilities. 

Up to three $1500 scholarships are available each year. More details are available by contacting the Cedar Falls High School counseling office.

Students interested in pursuing a utility related career are encouraged to complete a job shadow with CFU.
