Billing & Payment Info
Automatic payments from your checking account. Sign up for Automatic Payment to make easy automatic payments each month from your bank account. Customers who sign up for automatic payment from their bank account will not incur a convenience fee. Payments are drafted from your checking account on the bill due date. Automatic Payment customers receive a monthly utility statement and participant's bank statements will show the utility payment deduction.
We accept online payments using Visa, Mastercard, Discover or electronic check. If you make a payment via one of these methods, you will incur a convenience fee of $5.25 per $600 (or less) payment.
Skip the convenience fee by taking advantage of our new payment option - register your Utility Account through CFU's Web Service Center and make a one-time electronic payment from your bank account.

You may pay in person at our office on Utility Parkway in Cedar Falls. Customer Service is open weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
You may pay by using the Cedar Falls Utilities drop box. Payment will be recorded on the next business day.
A 24/7 drive-up drop box is right outside our front door, under the canopy at our main entrance on Utility Parkway.
Make life a little easier and do your part for the environment. Switch to an electronic utility bill. Sign up for paperless billing and you’ll no longer have to keep track of a monthly statement that comes in the mail. You’ll be notified by email when your bill is available to be paid. On the web, you can easily and securely view and print up to 25 months of bills. Plus, by reducing paper waste, you can feel good about helping the environment. Registration for paperless billing is available in the CFU web service center.
The Budget Payment Plan is a free service that aids in financial planning. This is accomplished by dividing a customer's estimated annual utility charges into 12 equal payments. This designated amount is billed each month regardless of the customer's actual usage. In order to achieve the most accurate budget billing amount, CFU highly recommends that customers have 12 months of usage history before signing up for this service.
