CFU Customers Pay Less for Utility Services
Cedar Falls Utilities customers enjoy high quality services for less when compared to 20 peer communities across Iowa.
Households with CFU electric, water, natural gas, TV and high-speed internet pay an average of $977 less annually than residents
in peer communities.
Every six months CFU surveys utility rates across the state. In the most recent survey, rates from June 2022 to May 2023 were reviewed.
The comparison includes communities that are both larger than and smaller than Cedar Falls.
Cedar Falls residents with all five services paid an average of $342.21 per month. In contrast, residents of 20 peer communities paid an average of $423.66 per month for the same services.
