Fiber Maintenance Overnight Thursday for Central Cedar Falls

CFU will be conducting fiber maintenance that will impact internet, TV and phone service for customers in central Cedar Falls overnight on Thursday, March 13. 

Maintenance is scheduled to be completed by 6 a.m. Friday morning. Services will be restored as quickly as possible.

During this time, internet, TV and phone service will not be available. Communications technicians will be replacing fiber in preparation for City road reconstruction at the intersection of 18th and Main.

The impacted area includes customers between Hudson Rd and Hwy 58, south of 13th St and north of 29th St. 

For most customers north of 22nd St, maintenance will begin at midnight. (See midnight impact map here.)

For most customers south of 22nd St, maintenance will begin at 2:00 a.m. Friday morning. (See 2 a.m. impact map here.)
